Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

George Agriogiannis joined Holcim Australia and New Zealand as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2019. He leads a team of more than 3,000 employees across Australia and New Zealand as part of the global leader in building solutions. Holcim is reinventing how the world builds to shape a world that is greener, smarter, and that works for all. A world that is low-carbon and circular for a net zero future. A world driven by innovation, making more with less.

George holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). He has extensive executive, senior management and operational experience in construction materials across Australia. Prior to joining Holcim, he was Executive General Manager of Adelaide Brighton Ltd. 

Executive General Manager (EGM) - New Zealand

Michael Miller was appointed Executive General Manager (EGM) for New Zealand in January 2024. He has extensive management experience across a range of disciplines including sales and marketing, procurement, operations and logistics. Michael was previously Chief Strategy Officer and held numerous roles over 17 years at Adbri, a publicly listed national construction materials company.

He holds a Bachelor of Management in Marketing from the University of South Australia and has over a decade of directorship experience on multiple boards. 

General Counsel & Company Secretary

Jess Blomfield was appointed General Counsel and Company Secretary in August 2022. She leads our legal team.

Prior to joining Holcim, she has held senior roles both locally and internationally across a variety of industries. Most recently, she worked for a global logistics company.  

Jess holds a dual Bachelor of Laws Bachelor Business degree from the University of Queensland. She has over 15 years legal experience, is a GAICD and a member of the ACC. 

Executive General Manager (EGM) - People, Culture and Communications

Helen Jones was appointed EGM of People, Culture and Communications for Holcim Australia and New Zealand in September 2019. She has previously held senior roles in human resources management and workers compensation at Holcim, Rinker and CSR spanning China, Australia and New Zealand.

Helen leads the human resources, brand, communication and workers compensation functions. Her remit spans more than 3,500 employees and contractors operating at more than 200 sites. She holds Bachelor degrees in Human Resources Management and Services, and Labour and Industrial Relations.

Executive General Manager (EGM) - IT, Technical and Engineering

Brad Tallon was appointed to the Exco in April 2003, having originally joined the organisation in 1984, and was appointed to his current role in 2012. He heads up Information Technology, Technical and Engineering, ensuring that the relevant functions support the overall business strategy, through a secure IT infrastructure backbone, digital and product innovation and strong project management methodology.

He has held executive management roles within the building industry including roles at Holcim, CSR, and Boral in the USA, China and France as well as locally. He holds an MBA from Deakin University and has a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and Commerce.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Phil Wallace was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Holcim Australia and New Zealand, in February 2018. He leads the Finance/Procurement, Operations and Governance functions driving commercial analysis to enable insights across the business supporting effective decision-making resulting in the delivery of business growth. Phil's career has seen him lead several international and local mergers and acquisitions in different sectors.

He has held senior financial management positions across sectors, with a specialisation in supply chain logistics and manufacturing operations through experiences at Diageo internationally, and at ASX listed companies locally. Phil sits on the Holcim Australia and New Zealand and Cement Australia boards and several subsidiary boards. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Law and Human Resource Management, is a FCPA and a member of the Institute of Company Directors.
