In 2013 Holcim Concrete moved to Allied Concrete management. These plants are owned by AML Ltd , a joint venture of Holcim (New Zealand) Ltd and HW Richardson Group. AML Ltd operates two brands within New Zealand including Allied Concrete in the North Island and Ashby’s Ready Mix in Christchurch.
In 2017, AML Ltd consolidated the market presence to a single brand - Allied Concrete. There is a gradual change to the branding, including logos on vehicles, silos, signage, branded clothing, and documents such as invoices. Allied Concrete's 50 ready mixed plants span the country. 33 of these plants are joint venture operations between Allied Concrete Ltd and Holcim (New Zealand) Ltd.
