Early Careers Leadership Program

Bringing together leaders from across the globe, this six-month leadership journey allows our early-career leaders to gain experience, improve their business skills, increase their exposure to senior management, build their global network, and thus grow as a leader. The program is purely virtual and builds on learning interventions from renowned international training providers.

Graduate Development Program

The 18-month graduate program is dynamic, hands-on, and purpose-driven to develop our industry’s next generation of leaders. The program provides our future operational leaders with opportunities to rotate through our diverse business units and make a real contribution to day-to-day business and projects whilst experiencing all facets of our operations, as well as a comprehensive development pathway to support personal and professional growth.

Leadership Coaching Programs

The three-month Leadership Coaching Program helps grow our people and helps to inspire them to leaders. The program takes our leaders on a deeply personal journey with qualified coaches from around the globe to build upon their current knowledge, skills and abilities and take them to the next level.

Online Learning Platform

We offer an extensive suite of engaging online learning options that are continuously curated and updated to ensure access to the most recent information and thought leadership in the topics that interest you the most, including health and safety, leadership development, professional improvement and business operations.

Individual Development Action Plans

At Holcim you take leadership of your career development for your current role and beyond. As part of the performance review process, you are encouraged to discuss your career aspirations and what development you need (be it formal training or working on key projects that stretch and challenge you) with your manager. We also offer study assistance for professional qualifications such as Diploma, Degree, Graduate Diploma and Masters degrees. Doctorates are not eligible for study assistance.

Quarry Manager Development Program

Designed to equip our current and future quarry managers and operational leaders with the skills, knowledge, and capability required to maintain our best-in-class operations across our aggregate business. Participants who successfully complete the program receive a nationally recognised qualification:

Holcim Business School

Learning never stops at Holcim – even for our senior leaders. The success of implementing our Strategy 2025 “Accelerating for Green Growth” largely depends on ensuring the Group’s senior leaders have the right leadership skills, resources, knowledge, and networks. Every year, our most senior leaders come together for a module which is taught by external faculty, the CEO and Executive Committee. We are very proud that the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) recognized this program in 2020.
