Holcim’s Accelerator Challenges Startups to Accelerate Sustainable Construction
Enrolment in the Holcim Accelerator Program is open until 27 March. It provides unique access to business experts, expertise and scale-up opportunities in nine countries across Europe, North and South America, as well as Australia and New Zealand. The program runs between May and November, with startups presenting their work during Holcim’s Demo Day in December 2022.
Startups should get involved for:
- Access to different market conditions and facilities across geographies, with country specific resources
- High-level mentoring with top managers of several major companies of the construction industry
- Co-creation with a powerful mix of entrepreneurial, business and technical expertise
- The possibility to undertake pilot tests and demonstrations

Launched in 2018, the Holcim Accelerator is an intensive 6-month program dedicated to speeding up low-carbon innovation along the construction value chain. Selected startups gain unique access to a powerful mix of business and technical expertise across different markets and geographies, as well as to Holcim’s Innovation Centre in Lyon and its state-of-the-art lab equipment. Over the past four years, more than 20 startups have benefited from the program.
