Application deadlines

Sponsorship applications from the Westport, Bombay and Hastings areas are considered once a year by local Community Support Committees made up of community representatives, Holcim management and staff. To be considered, applications from these areas must be received by 30 April.

Applications from other areas or national sponsorship opportunities are considered by our corporate Community Support Committee (with input from local managers where appropriate) three times per year, usually:

  • March / April

  • October / November

We aim to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within one month of the Committee meeting.

Sponsorship Benefits

Sponsorship is a business transaction designed to establish a mutually beneficial partnership between the two parties involved.

As well as the community benefits, please clearly state in your application the benefits your sponsorship opportunity could offer to Holcim eg. naming rights to an event, Holcim branding on signage/ event programmes/ related advertising, opportunities to involve staff and/or entertain key customers.

Sponsorship Agreement

Where sponsorships of $1,000 or more are agreed, a sponsorship agreement is provided by Holcim to ensure clarity regarding the responsibilities of all parties involved.

Publicity

Groups and organisations sponsored may be named on our website, in publications, and/or in related publicity.
